Raised in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, Ben graduated from the US Air Force Academy and served 27 years as a pilot, flying missions to all seven continents.

He is a trusted strategist and change agent, able to bring compelling visions to life by speaking passionately, thinking strategically, planning tactically, and solving creatively.

As a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt instructor, his national and international clients include Canada Post, Perkins Coie, Collins Aerospace, Lincare, First American Title Company, Tasteful Selections, and Danone North America. He has shown clients across the business spectrum how to generate millions of dollars and streamline processes by 75-90%. Ben brings his vast expertise and knowledge to Impact Washington, working with clients such as Inventech Marine, Goodwinds Composites, Qualitel, Orion Industries, Skills Inc., Sewn Product Services, Healthy Pet, Juliet Sewing Company, and Woodstone Corporation.

Ben is also a Principal at Nokomis Advisory Services, a Bellevue-based M&A Advisory firm providing sell-side representation to lower and middle-market privately-owned companies primarily in the Pacific Northwest.
